Paul First Nation
Paul First Nation Development Corporation is the business arm of Paul First Nation. Dechant has signed an exclusive agreement to provide Civil Construction and Clearing Services within the traditional territory to the benefit of Paul First Nation. Our agreement is based on 3 tenets that serve to strengthen the community through driving risk free dollars back to the PFNDC, engage the local community with employment opportunities as well assist with capacity building of PFNDC.

Saddle Lake Cree Nation
Saddle Lake Cree Nation has partnered with Dechant Construction as its exclusive Civil Construction and Clearing partner. Our relationship is based on the fundamental tenets of being a good partner. We share in revenues, provide employment to community members and offer support in capacity to the community. The success of this partnership is driven by the commitment by both parties to share in the industrial development within the traditional territory of Saddle Lake Cree Nation.

Started by Alphonse Dechant in 1972, Dechant Construction Ltd. is an independent provider of highway, water & sewer and oilfield construction. Since Alphonse’s retirement the company has been run by his sons and a management team that has continued the quality and client expectations that Alphonse started. Operating across northern Alberta and north-eastern British Columbia, we have become one of the largest heavy civil construction contractors in these areas.
